<p align="justify"><strong>Θεωρητικό μέρος: </strong>Σχηματισμός ρύπων και έλεγχος αυτών: οξείδια του αζώτου, μονοξείδιο του άνθρακα, άκαυστοι υδρογονάνθρακες, σωματίδια, επεξεργασία καυσαερίου. Καταλυτικοί μετατροπείς και συστήματα ελέγχου εκπομπών. Ενεργειακή συμπεριφορά ΜΕΚ, θερμικός υπολογισμός κινητήρα, υπερπλήρωση. Μετάδοση θερμότητας στις μηχανές: μετάδοση θερμότητας με συναγωγή και ακτινοβολία, θερμική φόρτιση και θερμοκρασία διαφόρων εξαρτημάτων. Τριβή και λίπανση: γενικές αρχές, τριβή διαφόρων εξαρτημάτων, απώλειες τριβής, λιπαντικά, είδη λίπανσης, υδροδυναμική θεωρία λίπανσης. Στοιχεία δυναμικής παλινδρομικών μηχανών, κινηματική. <p><strong>Εργαστηριακό μέρος: </strong>Εργαστηριακές μετρήσεις και δοκιμές μηχανών: μέτρηση διαφόρων λειτουργικών μεγεθών, τύποι δοκιμών, διάγραμμα επίδοσης. Ηλεκτρικό δυναμόμετρο: μετρήσεις, υπολογισμοί, κατασκευή διαγραμμάτων. Λήψη δυναμοδεικτικού διαγράμματος: επεξεργασία, υπολογισμοί. Αναλυτές καυσαερίων: αρχές λειτουργίας, επιτρεπόμενα όρια και μέτρηση εκπομπών ρύπων. Ηλεκτρονική μονάδα ελέγχου μηχανών αυτοκινήτου: περιγραφή, μετρήσεις, προσδιορισμός βλαβών συστημάτων αυτοκινήτου. Συσκευή ελέγχου κεφαλών: ανίχνευση ρηγμάτων στις κεφαλές, υπό θερμοκρασία πραγματικής λειτουργίας.
